Introduction: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts the recruitment process for the Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO). The recruitment process is conducted to fill up vacancies for the post of Enforcement Officer/Accounts Officer. The post is a Group 'B' level post in the pay matrix level-8 in the Pay Band Rs. 9300-34800 with Grade Pay of Rs. 4600/-.


Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible for the post of Enforcement Officer/Accounts Officer, candidates must fulfil the following criteria:

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university or institute.

Age Limit: Candidates must be between 18-30 years of age as of the closing date of the application. Age relaxation is provided for reserved categories as per government norms.

Experience: Candidates must have two years of experience in Accounts, Administration, or Law in a Government or Public Sector Undertaking or Autonomous Body or a recognized private organization.

Selection Process: The selection process for the post of Enforcement Officer/Accounts Officer consists of two stages:

Written Exam: The written exam consists of two papers. Paper 1 is an objective-type exam consisting of questions on General English, General Knowledge, and General Mental Ability. Paper 2 is a subjective-type exam consisting of questions on the Indian Economy, Indian Polity, General Accounting Principles, Industrial Relations, Labour Laws, and Social Security.

Interview: Candidates who clear the written exam are called for an interview. The interview is conducted to assess the candidate's personality, communication skills, and suitability for the job.

Understand the Exam Pattern and Syllabus: Candidates should be familiar with the exam pattern and syllabus. This will help them to plan their preparation accordingly.
