 Manchester United took on Newcastle United in a much-anticipated Premier League fixture. The game was played at Old Trafford on the 11th of September, 2021, with the Red Devils emerging as comfortable 4-1 winners. Second Half

Newcastle United started the second half brightly, with Jonjo Shelvey hitting the crossbar with a long-range effort. However, it was Manchester United who scored the next goal, with Bruno Fernandes converting a penalty after Javier Manquillo handled the ball in the box. The penalty was initially saved by Freddie Woodman, but the rebound fell kindly to Fernandes, who made no mistake with the follow-up.

Newcastle United did not give up and continued to push forward. They got a consolation goal in the 56th minute, with Javier Manquillo scoring a stunning volley from outside the box. The goal gave Newcastle United some hope, but their joy was short-lived, with Manchester United scoring their fourth goal of the game just two minutes later. Jesse Lingard, who had just come on as a substitute, scored a stunning goal with his first touch of the game. The midfielder received the ball just outside the box, took a touch, and then curled a beautiful shot into the top corner of the net.

The rest of the match was relatively uneventful, with both teams creating some half-chances but failing to score any more goals. The match ended with Manchester United winning 4-1, a result that was a fair reflection of their dominance throughout the game.
